You’ve done it; you’ve secured yourself an interview! Now it’s time to make sure you do everything possible to get yourself the job.

Mentally prepare

Read over your CV, application and job specification for possible questions, and research the company to gain an insight in to how to word your answers. Once you’ve completed your research, practice, practice, practice until you feel confident.

Practically prepare

Get everything ready in advance: have your documents prepared in your portfolio, complete a practice run of your journey, and ensure your chosen outfit fits comfortably and is clean and ironed ready for that polished and professional look.

Time to shine

During the interview smile, keep eye contact throughout, and take your time to think about the questions before you answer – remember to give examples!
