“When we first met with Better Jobs Better Futures, we were advertising through a well-known job platform, but really struggling to recruit for temporary staff. Beth explained what BJBF was able to offer and that it could be tailored to suit our needs. She asked if she could view the current job adverts and descriptions to see if any improvements could be made, so that we were able to attract more applicants. Beth advised several suggestions, for example, that the adverts lacked content as why would someone want to come and work for us and details of what the job would entail.  She asked if we were willing for her to take the information gathered during our meeting away and come back to us with suggested improvements. When Beth emailed the details across, she had not only re-written the adverts but also included job descriptions. We placed the new adverts online and were quickly inundated with applicants, more than we could have ever imagined. In addition, Beth has also advised on a staff induction process that would enable all staff to understand what would be required of them during their day to day duties. Beth has kept in constant touch with us and arranged to visit on several occasions to ensure that we were happy with the recruitment processes in place.  The adverts and job descriptions are something that we are now able to use and adapt for future use.
