We are looking for a passionate and experienced Relief Chef to work alongside Chef’s and join a friendly team at a Care Home.  You will be responsible for: making a roast dinner for the residents on Sunday for lunch service and a lighter meal served in the evening. During the weekdays you will be responsible for making and serving breakfast to residents. 

Responsibilities also include: assisting the Chef with tasks designated to them; covering the Chef’s duties when they are on annual leave or off due to sickness; ensuring that any necessary preparation is made for the next day; maintaining hygiene in the kitchen; promoting a clean and hygienic kitchen following all company and legal food safety requirements; the accurate use and storage of stock, stock control, and will be involved in stock takes daily and monthly as well as stock rotation of goods to reduce wastage; assisting the Kitchen with the day to day running, preparing food dishes and keeping the areas clean and ready for service throughout the kitchen. You must have Level 2 Food Hygiene.
