We are looking for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Assistant to work alongside Chef’s and join a friendly team at a Care Home.  You will be responsible for making and serving breakfast to residents; assisting the Chef with tasks designated to them and ensuring that any necessary preparation is made for the next day.

Duties of the role will also include: maintaining hygiene in the kitchen; promoting a clean and hygienic kitchen following all company and legal food safety requirements; the accurate use and storage of stock, stock control, and will be involved in stock takes daily and monthly as well as stock rotation of goods to reduce wastage; assisting the Kitchen with the day to day running, preparing food dishes and keeping the areas clean and ready for service throughout the kitchen.
